Gary is the Oldest of four children born to Bishop Gary and Yvette Ellis. Even though he secretly prayed for a brother, God decided it was better to bless him with three younger sisters Genesis, Shekinah and Gabrielle.
After, Graduating from high school Gary enrolled at the Sound and Audio Engineering Institute, a school dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of audio engineering. After graduating from SAE, Gary enrolled at Austin Peay State University to pursue his Bachelor degree. Gary is currently attends the Abundant Life Outreach Center. He is an active member of his church music ministry, drama ministry, youth ministry, and Sr. leadership staff.
He is a board member for the Clarksville Montgomery County Community Agency, a member of the City of Clarksville’s River-Fest Planning Committee and the founder of the YMCA Operation Excel Program.
Gary enjoys whitewater rafting, playing the piano, singing, reading, interacting with friends, meeting new people, traveling (preferably by plane) and eating.
Some of his goals are to pursue a Masters Degree in Organization Leadership, purchase a house, develop a lifestyle of exercise and healthy eating, and acquire some investment property. Garry has stated that his ultimate desire is to be used of God to equip and inspire people to reach their potential.
